Join Upspoken and RoyalTea, a sexual and relational health and wellness initiative powered by the California Black Women's Health Project, for a special gathering of creativity, healing, and sisterhood.
Sisters by the Shore: Black Women’s Writing Circle

Experience an inspiring evening by the ocean featuring a Beachside Book Talk with Ayana Tyler Hardaway, Ph.D., Founder and CEO of Wildflowers and Co. and author of From Crack Mother to Wildflower, Writing to Transgress. Enjoy a live reading and poetry session, then join an interactive writing circle on the sand accompanied by music and community connection.
We will close with a warm bonfire where participants can reflect, share stories, and celebrate the beauty of sisterhood.
