Sisters have been carving out their own heavy, melodic world since the release of their debut EP “Make It Hurt” in 2020 — a record that laid the foundation for their signature sound: raw, riff-driven rock with an unflinching honesty. Followed by the full length “Leecheater” in 2023 on Spartan Records. Now, the duo Jason Blackmore (Molly McGuire) and Mario Quintero (Spotlights), return with "Wings of Deliverance", a darker, more experimental follow-up that examines the bands fascination with cults, religion, and power structures led through a conceptual exploration of the Jonestown Massacre.
BEINN (pronounced "ben") is a new band featuring frontman/guitarist Arthur Shepherd (formerly of 90's post hardcore legends Errortype:11), Chris Enriquez (of Spotlights, Julie Christmas, On the Might of Princes and Orange 9mm) and Eric Adams (formerly of Adam's Castle and Pastell Hell.) The bands debut LP "Perpetual Architecture" is out now on Mind Over Matter records and was produced/mixed by Mario Quintero of the band Spotlights. The album features former member Jeff Gensterblum (Coalesce, Casket Lottery and Small Brown Bike) on the drums. The band's sound can be described as Progressive Post-hardcore. Their influences include a wide array of bands ranging from Jane's Addiction, Yes, Quicksand, Smashing Pumpkins, Fugazi and Grateful Dead. An interesting/unique mix of bands, but when you see them/hear them, you can tell where their influences shamelessly on their sleeves and the combination of these sounds works really well.
