Sistering Circle: Speaking A New World Into Being

A sacred container to practice the art of sistering with other women through ceremony, agreements, song, discussion, and ritual.

What is the medicine you carry? Has it been tamed down, silenced, or hidden away in the secret valuts of your heart? Was there a time as a child that you were told, either implicitly or explicitly, to make yourself smaller, quieter, less vibrant, less visible?

Women are magic! Nothing can convince me otherwise. Most of us have been raised in a culture where our feminine magic was met with either fear or dismissal, and so we have forgotten, or silenced our feminine medicine. Even so, some of us are actively embarking on expeditions of excavation, and re-membering, rediscovering, and reclaiming our feminine medicine and magic.

In this Sistering Circle: Speaking A New World Into Being, we will be gathering in the "Womb Room" at Mothertree where we will collectively create a sacred space through a brief ritual of invocation, group agreements, intention setting, and singing/drumming.

We will then explore through discussion, the natural medicine of our souls (our unique magic) that we hid away, or forgot about, due to external pressures (shame, fear, criticsim) in the world.

Through meditation, journaling and discussion we will explore what we plan on nurturing back into flourishing in our lives, and share how the unique medicine we carry will benefit the world we wish to create.

Please bring a journal, as well as a flower for our collective altar.

If you would like to add a special object to our collective altar for the ceremony (that you will take back when we close the circle) you are welcome to do so as well.

Space is limited, so pre-registration is necessary.
