About this Event

Sister Mary Ignatius, a teaching nun who is much concerned with sin in all of its various forms, delivers a cautionary lecture that is interrupted by four of her ex-students, who reveal how far they have strayed from her teaching. This biting, irreverent and uproariously funny satire aims its barbs at organized religion and strikes home with hilarious results and the unsettling feeling that, amid the laughter, some devastating truths have been revealed.

Featuring a fantastic cast of emerging Milwaukee theater artists, this stripped down performance highlights the writing of a voice that's shaped how we think of contemporary american theater.

This performance includes discussions of sensitive topics and is recommended for audiences 14+

This meeting is not sponsored or endorsed by the Milwaukee Public Library. Reasonable accommodations will be provided upon request. Contact the City of Milwaukee ADA Coordinator, (414) 286-3475 or [email protected] no later than seventy-two (72) hours before the scheduled event.
