Sister Circle: Writing for the Soul
About this Event
Writing for the Soul
An Interactive Creative Writing Session & Open Mic
Words have the power to heal, inspire, release, and transform.
Join us for an unforgettable evening of creativity, connection, and self-expression at our August Sister Circle: Writing for the Soul.
Whether you've been journaling for years, secretly writing poetry, or have never considered yourself a writer, this experience is for you. No writing experience is necessary—just bring an open heart and a willingness to explore your voice.
Longtime creative writing instructor, author, poet, and speaker Staci PurPose Kirk will guide participants through engaging and easy-to-follow creative writing techniques designed to spark inspiration and help you write from the heart.
Throughout the evening you'll enjoy:
- Guided creative writing exercises
- Tips to unlock your creativity
- A fun Free Write session where you'll simply let the words flow
- Time for reflection and personal expression
- A supportive and encouraging community of women
We'll close the evening with an optional Open Mic, where those who feel comfortable can share what they've written in a safe, welcoming, and judgment-free environment. Whether you choose to read one sentence, an entire poem, or simply listen and cheer others on, every voice is valued and every story matters.
Come write.
Come listen.
Come heal.
Come connect.
This is more than a writing workshop—it's an opportunity to give your thoughts a voice, release what's been sitting on your heart, and experience the power of sisterhood through storytelling.
Food & Beverage:
CLE Urban Winery offers a wonderful selection of wine, non-alcoholic beverages, and light snacks available for purchase throughout the evening.
We can't wait to write, reflect, and grow with you. 💕
