Love books and a good glass of wine? Join us for a cozy, no-pressure evening of silent reading and good company. Ticket includes a book!About this Event
Welcome to an evening of all your favorite things: a good book, a glass of wine, and no-pressure socializing. Your ticket includes admission to a cozy section of U Wine Bar seated with other silent readers, light snacks, a secondhand book of your choice, and a bookmark. Wine and other beverages are available for purchase from the popular new locally-owned U Wine Bar. A selection of secondhand books will be available to choose from for your free book, and for purchase if you would like more than one; read your new book, or bring one from home.
Agenda:
- 6:30-6:45: Arrive, choose your seat
- 6:45-6:50: Optional introductions
- 6:50-7:50: Silent reading hour
- 7:50-8:15: No-pressure, loosely facilitated book chat (totally optional— chat about your book, grab another glass of wine, or just keep reading)
- 8:15- onward: Our event officially ends at 8:30 but the wine bar is open until 11pm- dealer's choice!
