Think you know your beer or wine? It’s time to put your taste buds to the test.
Join us for Sippin’ in the Dark, a blind beer and wine tasting experience benefiting Mira Foundation USA at Southern Pines Growler Company.
Choose your tasting experience when you purchase your ticket: BEER or WINE. Then, with your blindfold on (optional), you’ll taste your way through four mystery samples and see just how much you can figure out without seeing what’s in your glass.
🍺 Team Beer: Sample four beers and try to identify the beer style from a list of possibilities. Our beer tasting will be led by a representative from Commonwealth Brewing Company, who will reveal each selection and share tasting notes, fun facts and more along the way.
🍷 Team Wine: Sample two whites and two reds and see if you can identify the grape varietal from a list of possibilities. The SP Growler's very own Melissa will reveal each wine as you go and share more about the grapes, vineyards, regions and what makes each selection unique.
Every correct guess earns you a Chopine Buck, and the guests with the most will be entered to win 1 of 4 gift card to the Southern Pines Growler Company!
The tasting is only part of the evening. Enjoy small bites, raffles, time to mingle, and the opportunity to purchase a glass or bottle of a new favorite you discover during your tasting at a discounted rate. You’ll also have a chance to meet Chopine, our ambassador guide dog, and learn more about how your night out helps Mira Foundation USA provide guide dogs free of charge to blind American children.
