Sippin' Dandelion: Meditation & Mocktails at Sèchey
About this Event
Join us for an evening that slows things down. We'll settle into a guided meditation grounded in dandelion root tea, then explore its story — from folk remedy to modern-day bar cart staple — before elevating it into a beautifully balanced mocktail. Expect good company, deep breaths, bitter-and-bright flavors, and plenty of time to shop, sip, and connect.
The Flow
1. Settle In & Meditate We'll open with a guided meditation as we drink dandelion root tea — a moment to breathe, ground, and arrive fully in the space.
2. Share & Learn A guided conversation on dandelion's story: its historical use as a folk remedy, its place in medical botany, and how it's showing up in wellness and bar culture today.
3. Meet Tenneyson We'll introduce Tenneyson and explore what it brings to the table — the flavor profile, the philosophy, and it's active ingredient dandelion root.
4. Taste It Two Ways First, we'll sip it on its own. Then we'll build it into a mocktail, so you can learn flavor profiles it pairs well with.
5. Go Deeper on Bitters A closer look at dandelion's role as a digestive bitter — and the ingredients Tenneyson pairs with it (including ginger) to round out and elevate that effect.
6. Close the Circle We'll wrap with a closing circle to reflect and integrate, followed by time to shop, mingle, and take a little bit of Sechey home with you.
*You'll get 20% off in store+ a goodie bag to take home! *
Who's This For
This gathering is for anyone craving a slower, more intentional kind of night out — whether that's:
- Meditation-curious folks who want an approachable, guided entry point
- Mocktail and NA-spirit lovers looking to expand their palate
- Herbalism and medical botany students who love a good plant story
- Anyone navigating a sober or sober-curious lifestyle looking for ritual and community
- Friends looking for a calm, connective way to spend an evening together
No meditation experience necessary — just an open mind and a taste for something a little bitter, a little bright, and a lot intentional.
