Pop by the farm for Sip & See: Amara Tasting Room Open House, a celebratory gathering to mark the opening of our brand-new tasting space and introduce you to Amara, our handcrafted, farm-made vermouth.

What began with a crate of unsold radicchio and a spark of inspiration has evolved into something extraordinary. When Farmer Malaika handed Chef Ian Knauer the leftover produce from the market, he recalled a favorite aperitivo from a trip to Barcelona. Using ingredients grown right here on the farm, he recreated a Spanish-style vermouth—one that surprised them both with its depth and brilliance.

Over the years, they’ve refined the recipe. The result is Amara (Italian for “bitter”): a radicchio-infused wine steeped with herbs and spices picked fresh from the fields, gently aged with oak, and finished with a touch of caramel. The flavor is bittersweet, botanical, and deeply rooted in the land where it was born.
