Sip & Scrawl - A Creative Writing Experience in Southbank

Reviews:
I loved this. I had such a fun night. I get very apprehensive about creative writing and find it really hard to start writing. Mike's exercises made that process so smooth, doable and fun. By the end of the night, I'd gained quite a bit of confidence. ***** - Abla
So much fun! Just book it and go. On your own or with a friend, Mike’s easy, friendly style erased all self consciousness. Playful, fun, surprising. I laughed A LOT. ***** - Gill
I really enjoyed Mike’s class. I was nervous coming alone, but it wasn’t awkward and there was no obligation to share your work if you didn’t want to. The creative writing challenges were varied and fun. ***** - Hannah
Mike was a fantastic host! Gave us a rare chance to relive our childhood creativity with imaginative prompts and different writing styles. Definitely recommend and would do again! ***** - Nafeesa
A relaxed social experience easing you into writing with a very friendly atmosphere. Mike is great at hosting and holding the space with everyone and a few drinks make it even more enjoyable! I loved the exercises and the process that got us all talking and writing with inspiration! ***** - Matthew
A couple things to note...
- Venue is fully wheelchair accessible! But please let Mike know beforehand so the right amount of space is made free.
- Our session is in an active bar, so there will be background music and other people chatting around us - all part of the buzzy vibe!
