About this Event

Open to women only

A gentle, non-alcoholic sip & paint workshop exploring rest, reproductive health, and community through creativity and conversation.
Through Her Story is a facilitated, non-alcoholic sip & paint workshop exploring rest, reproductive health, and community connection. Designed as a calm evening space, the workshop invites participants to slow down and reflect on how rest shows up in their bodies, lives, and experiences, particularly in the context of reproductive health conditions such as endometriosis, PCOS, and fibroids.
Reproductive health conditions affect people from all backgrounds, yet women of colour and underserved communities often face additional barriers to care, stigma, and dismissal of their pain. This workshop intentionally creates a welcoming, creative space where those voices are not only included but prioritised.
Using guided creative prompts, painting, and gentle dialogue, participants are supported to explore rest as healing, resistance, survival, or something still being learned. No artistic experience is required. The focus is not on producing a finished artwork, but on expression, reflection, and being held in community.
All materials are provided, and the session is fully non-alcoholic, with water, and soft drinks available throughout.

About TWEM

At This Won’t End Me, we believe in turning pain into power. Our mission is to uplift and support those living with endometriosis and navigating menstrual health by fostering community, sparking conversations, and championing creativity as a tool for change.

Together, we are breaking the silence, challenging stigma, and reshaping what it means to live with endometriosis. Because while endometriosis and menstrual health challenges may shape us, they will never define us.

About The Bridge

The Bridge is a women’s health and wellbeing charity based in Southwark working to create inclusive and welcoming spaces for women of all identities to connect and thrive for over 90 years. We believe in a fairer society where women’s voices are heard and their health and wellbeing are valued and respected. Through our women-only gym, community café, wellbeing programmes and support groups, we help women care for themselves, support one another and challenge injustices together.

How to contribute

At The Bridge, we’re all about working together and building meaningful partnerships with the women in our community. We believe that everyone has something valuable to offer, and that means everyone has a role in shaping our work—because The Bridge belongs to all of us. We celebrate each person’s unique strengths and contributions, creating opportunities for everyone to get involved in a way that feels right for them.

Whether you give your time, skills, or financial support, every contribution means we’re working together to make The Bridge the space we want it to be.

One way to support our work is through our pay-what-you-can model, which ensures that our activities and events are accessible to all while allowing space for contributions to go towards helping us sustain what we do. Whatever you choose to give, it all makes a difference.

Want to get involved and contribute in other ways? We’d love to hear from you!
