Come join BitterSweetPreet (Jaspreet Bains) at Oliver's Astoria for a Sip and Henna night where you can learn the art of henna! This is meant to be a fun crafting class, so no experience is necessary. As a bonus, we will be staining wooden coasters with your unique henna design to take home with you!
Get ready to unleash your creativity with me using henna!
What the workshop includes:
- 1 drink ticket
- 1 henna cone
- 1 practice worksheet
- 1 blank wooden coaster to design and stain!
What the workshop entails:
- Introduction and history of henna
- My connection to the medium as an artist
- Demonstration and worksheets so you can practice basic elements
- Demonstration on how to stain your wooden coaster with henna
- A chance to design a pattern on your own hand or a friend's!
