What is Sip& Craft - Beaded Embroidery Edition Edition?

Try out beaded embroidery, while sipping drinks, and connecting with others at Sip&Craft - Beaded Embroidery Edition. During the workshop you will get started on your embroidery piece, with all the tools, materials, and guidance provided for you. Once the workshop is over, take the beads and threads you need and finish your creation at home at your own pace. You will get access to digital beaded embroidery guide that you can always look back to.

This workshop is beginner friendly and fits any age (above 18) and style.

What can I embroider?

Anything you want! The only limitation is staying within 8x8cm size. The rest is up to you. You can embroider anything you already have in mind, get inspired by the inspo-board that we provide, or choose from our bank of illustrations. The choice is yours.

IMPORTANT:

If you don't want to embroider on clothes, we will provide a cut of fabric that you can use. This way, you can keep the embroidery as an art piece.

If you want to embroider on clothes, please bring your own clothes. We recommend non-stretch medium-weight fabrics, such as cotton or linen, especially for beginners. Slightly stretchy fabrics would work as well.

Would not work:

• Any thick fabric;
• Thick denim;
• Very delicate and/or slippery fabric (chiffon, tulle, satin, silk);
• Knits.

Info: Decide upon what you are embroidering, choose the beads, and dive right into it! Catch up with your friends, make new connections with the workshop neighbours, or get into your creative meditative zone - this part of the workshop is for you to enjoy in your own preferred way.

Info: Get your goody bag ready - pack the beads, thread, needle, and embroidery hoop you have been using to finish your embroidery after the workshop.
