Sip and Dip - The Indigo Flow

Guests will:

• Learn the cultural and botanical history of indigo

• Dye personal textile item to take home

• Reflect on indigo as both a healing plant and a symbol of transformation

When working with indigo with us- you are are not simply dyeing cloth.

Together we are:
- entering a lineage
- awakening memory
- honoring the women who kept the vats alive
- participating in a sacred technology that predates written history.

Bring 2-3 items, natural cellulose fibers (cotton, linen, and rayon) to dye/upcycle- light colors work best to show off the indigo blue. Please wear old clothes and closed-toe shoes.

We will have light snacks and you may bring your own snacks to enjoy.
