Sip and Bloom Farm Fundraiser

Welcome to our Sip and Bloom Farm Fundraiser!

We'll not only have farm-raised teas and a selection of basic wines to sip on, we'll have some amazing hors d'oeuvres as well, all locally made.

Menu includes:

• Fresh garden tomatoes, variety of basils, mozzerellas
• Sourdough bread from Salt & Light Bakery! Prepared in crostini and bruschetta options
• Mini sandwiches include all freshly harvested food from our farm: cucumber/dill, herb/ egg salad, smoked chicken salad
• A selection of cookies and other sweets from Salt & Light Bakery

Flower arranging:

• Learn professional floral techniques for making center piece arrangments
• As CJ shows guests flower arranging, she will also be sharing some of her recent teachings, entitled "Spiritual Metaphors in the Garden"
• Go home with at least one large bouquet of flowers and herbs, along with a few smaller bud vases for around your home. (Saturday morning, we'll be harvesting basically every flower on our farm for this event. )

Why are we doing this?

• All proceeds go toward helping cover our farm expenses for the year. Almost everything we do here at Shiloh Center Farms functions out of ministry. Our farm has been operating as an LLC "Schedule F" taxed entity since 2017, and every year our expenses far outweigh our generated revenue. (We only charge $7 per dozen eggs and this barely covers the cost of chicken feed.)
• In 2025, Jim and CJ have felt the call to host more worship concert nights, special events with Lighthouse Church, launched a free "Seed to Sauce" homestead class for adults, and continue hosting Pasadena Cottage School. We are believing that with a few farm fundraiser events, the generosity of our amazing community will allow us to sustainably continue all of these ministries!
