Fireworks 🎆, ice skating ⛸️, glowing lanterns 🏮 and live entertainment — Firelight returns to illuminate Singleton’s Civic Precinct on Saturday 2 May 2026 from 6–9.30pm.This much-loved Autumn event transforms the Singleton Civic Precinct into a vibrant, after-dark celebration of art, culture and community.
There’s something for everyone, from free kids’ activities and interactive circus workshops to roving performers bringing the precinct to life.
Create your own glowing masterpiece at a lantern-making workshop with artist Ikara, lace up your skates at the pop-up ice rink, or take part in a family-friendly scavenger hunt and explore everything Firelight has to offer.
Enjoy jumping castles, face painting, market stalls featuring local makers and community groups, and a range of food trucks serving up delicious street eats.
Adults can unwind in the outdoor licensed bar area, showcasing Hunter Valley wine and beer, while a dedicated sensory space ensures a calm and inclusive environment for all.
As the night unfolds, gather with family and friends to watch the sky come alive with a spectacular fireworks display 🎆
