Singles for a Cause — Volunteer Field Day at Brent's Place

This Singles event is a little different — and that's exactly the point.
All proceeds go directly to Brent's Place.
Singles for a Cause is our first-ever volunteer event, and we're kicking it off with a Field Day at Brent's Place — a really special organization right here in Aurora that provides a safe, supportive, long-term home for families of pediatric and adult patients facing life-threatening medical crises like cancer and organ transplants. Families get fully furnished apartments near world-class hospitals so they can stay together during treatment, plus support to help ease the emotional, physical, and financial weight of it all.
Your $30 ticket goes directly to Brent's Place — covering the day's meals, refreshments, and activities. We know you're giving your time AND your dollars — and we think Brent's Place is worth every bit of both. Two birds, one stone. 🐦🐦
What You'll Be Doing
Leading Field Day activities with the families — arts & crafts, water games, sidewalk chalk, obstacle courses, temporary tattoos, and more
Kitchen support with Chef Niko — prepping, serving, and cleaning up meals for families on campus
Touring the Brent's Place pediatric campus
Meeting other singles who show up for their community
How It Works
Show up at 10:30 AM, get oriented, and jump in. The families at Brent's Place are the heart of the day — you're there for them first. As you rotate through activity zones, you'll naturally spend time side by side with other singles who chose to show up for the same reason. No forced introductions, no awkward icebreakers — just real moments that happen organically while you're doing something that actually matters.
Why This Works
Instead of small talk, you get to see people in action — how they show up, how they treat others, how they carry themselves. That's where real connections happen. Volunteers are a huge part of what makes Brent's Place feel like home for these families, and you'll feel that the moment you walk in.

How to Connect After the Event
The Wingman Web App is designed to help you connect with singles you meet at the event.
At the start of the event, you can take a quick peek at Find Your Peeps. Based on your profile, we'll suggest a few attendees with shared interests and similar vibes—just a simple icebreaker and a few people to look out for.
After the event, head back into the web app. Select up to 6 Friends and 6 Flirts, and if the interest is mutual, we'll make the connection within about 24 hours. After that, ball's in your court!

💫 Ticket Types & Matching This event welcomes singles ladies, singles guys, LGBTQ+, and WingPeeps (non-single friends who just want to be part of something good). Because our community is currently primarily straight singles, some match preference categories may have smaller groups depending on the event.j
