Single Vineyard Spain! Wine Tasting
About this Event
Single Vineyard, Single Varietal: A Spanish Tasting
📅 Sunday, 13 September 2026
🕔 5:00pm
📍 Port of Leith Distillery
Spain's wine story is written in its land. From ancient bush vines to steep, sun-scorched slopes, single vineyard wines capture a place and a grape in perfect, unfiltered focus—no blending, no compromise, just pure expression of terroir.
This tasting celebrates that purity. Join wine writer and educator Isobel Salamon for a guided tasting of six single vineyard, single varietal Spanish wines, each one a snapshot of a specific plot, a specific grape, and the hands that tend them.
Through each glass, we'll explore Spain's remarkable diversity—from Rioja to Ribeira Sacra, Priorat to the Canary Islands—and discover how a single site can tell a story no blend ever could.
Paired with classic Spanish nibbles—jamón, manchego and more—this tasting is designed for curious newcomers and seasoned enthusiasts alike.
