Single Mom Strong Empowerment Workshop: Coping Skills

Join us for the Coping Skills Empowerment Workshop, designed to empower and educate single moms!

Life as a single mom can feel like juggling a dozen balls at once—and sometimes, it seems like they’re all about to fall. This workshop will give you practical strategies to catch those balls before they hit the ground, helping you manage daily stress, build resilience, and navigate life’s challenges with confidence.

This workshop features Bailey Lechner-Luke, M.S., LMFT, NCC, Clinical Supervisor at the Counseling and Diagnostic Services (CCDS) at CSUS. Bailey is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist and National Certified Counselor who is passionate about making mental health support practical, accessible, and relevant to everyday life. She will share coping skills and strategies specifically designed for you.

What to Expect

• Practical coping strategies you can use immediately
• Tools to manage stress, emotions, and daily challenges
• A judgment-free, interactive space focused on empowerment

This workshop isn’t about “doing it all”—it’s about gaining skills, confidence, and practical tools while connecting with a community that gets it.

Childcare pre-registration is required – Space is limited! (Single Mom Strong is a licensed childcare provider with an on-site classroom. Your child, ages 2–12, will enjoy a fun experience—including pizza—while you participate in the workshop.)

Lunch is included for all registered participants.
