Description: This workshop are open to anyone interested in improving their singing skills, especially for auditions. Attendees can have any level of experience, including those who are new to theatre or returning to theatre after a hiatus. Experienced actors looking to refresh their skills are welcome as well!Location: Village Theater, 50400 Cherry Hill Rd., Canton, MI 48187
Participants and Registration:
- Ages 18 and over only.
- Participants do not need to be a member of Spotlight Players.
- Participants may register for one, two, or all three workshops.
- Cost to Participant: $25 per workshop, via Spotlight Players' Venmo only.
- Non-refundable unless workshop is cancelled. Workshop will be cancelled if minimum registration participation is not met 5 days prior to workshop date, with registrants’ fee to be refunded.

KELLY RIZZO-MCLAIN is a local professional pianist, vocalist and choral conductor from Canton, Michigan. For Spotlight Players, she has been a vocal director for multiple shows, notably Jersey Boys and Guys and Dolls. Having performed this past season in shows such as Sweeney Todd and Back to Jersey, Kelly is also a performer who understands the pressure felt during auditions. She holds a bachelor’s degree in piano performance from Grand Valley State University where she studied with Aviram Reichert. Kelly earned a master’s degree in Music Theory Pedagogy from Michigan State University. Throughout her professional career, she has also studied voice, and she currently studies with Leslie Mason at Schoolcraft College.
