Set in French Guiana on Christmas Day, three convicts are employed as roofers by a family in need. When an evil-minded cousin arrives from France and a cold-blooded nephew plans to jilt the daughter, the convicts — despite being murderers and a swindler — use their skills to set things right and become true-life angels to the grateful family.
