Singing Bowls Exploratory Workshop - Most affordable in town!Interested in sound therapy for healing, wellness and relaxation? This is the chance for you to try hands-on, what this fantastic modality is all about.

Come and learn how to play the bowls in this free and easy exploratory workshop, where you will be introduced to the various types of bowls, the difference in tonal qualities and what to expect from playing them. Learn the basic techniques of playing the bowls and what to listen for. Plenty of hands-on with different types of strikers and playing the bowls for different purposes, such as meditation, relaxation, aura clearing, to calm anxiety and overactive thinking/minds.

Tibetan Metal Bowls

Frosted Quartz Bowls

Clear Quartz Bowls (sometimes called Alchemy Bowls)

Tuning Forks & Crystal Triangles

Strikers - Felt Mallet, Rubber Mallet, Suede Mallet, Crystals.

This workshop is meant to give anyone an introduction to sound therapy and sound healing in general. While I will teach mainly about singing bowls and how to play singing bowls for personal use or in an informal setting for family and friends, there will also be crystal triangles and tuning forks to play with.

Program -

330pm - Settle In

340 - 4pm - Introduction to the different types of bowls

4 - 430pm - Playing the different types of bowls

430 - 510pm - Hands-on and exploration for different instruments

510 to 530pm - What is a sound bath? Playing for yourself or others

Venue - Blue Room, The Studio@Bugis, Midland House #03-01

This venue has limited number of yoga mats for you to lie down, but if you are worried about cleanliness it is of course advisable to bring your own towel or mat and any cushions or pillows you may need. Come in comfortable loose clothing and something to keep yourself warm if you find yourself easily chilled. Water for hydration.
