Singing Bowl Workshop for Self Care

Part of Marina Central District's Singapore Design Week, Marina Central's FoRest is dedicated to self care. Sound has a profound effect on the human body and this is a great place to start your self-care journey with sound. There will be a short 20min singing bowl session followed by another 20mins of hands-on playing the singing bowls. B will be there to guide and teach you how to coax the sounds out of the bowls and how to allow the vibrations into your body. Bowls and mallets provided for up to 12 persons.

Come and listen to the harmonious tones of the metal and quartz bowls and learn how they induce states of relaxation, rest, focus or meditation. Feel the vibrations of the bowl affect your body's bio-field and enjoy all this at Suntec City Tower 5's rest zone where the swings are located.

This is an outdoor event conducted in the evening but please be aware that no seating or mats are provided. The weather may or may not be hot and we recommend bring portable usb fans and water to keep yourself hydrated and cool.
