Your local nonprofit theater now features a top-of-the-line laser projector in our side 1 auditorium. To celebrate—and help pay for!—this gorgeous upgrade, join us for exclusive screenings of movies about movies that span the age of cinema.First up on January 7 is Singin' in the Rain, starring Gene Kelly and Doris Day. This classic musical romcom is set against one of the movie industry's first major shifts: the introduction of sound. It's a feel-good film for the new year!
Each $20 ticket includes a small popcorn and themed beverage. For Singin' in the Rain, guests will be served a You're My Shining Star(ry) Mimosa Mocktail.
What's different about laser projection? The laser experience immerses you in vibrant color and unmatched clarity. Even old classics like this one are bright and crisp on screen.
Purchasing the laser projector was an unplanned expense that stretched our finances, so we're hoping to welcome over 20 guests per movie to help recoup some cost as well as spread the news about the new technology. We're already blown away by how cool it is!
