Lessons in Mindfulness in Community Music Making!Joins us for an oceanside weekend retreat with onsite lodging and meals! In celebration of the upcoming Spring Equinox, we will bring this quality of attention to our time together and experience the connection between being present, without judgment, in singing and making music in community. To do this we will:
-Engage in exercises to link voice and body
-Explore improvisation as a way to experience the present moment
-Sing songs from the “Basket of Plums,” the songbook of the Thich Nhat Hahn Buddhist tradition
-Take time for walking, meditating, discussion and journaling
-Build Community
