Join us to celebrate Irish language through choral music! Dan Reid will be giving his Doctorate of Musical Arts Lecture Recital on Saturday, May 30 at 3:00 PM at First Presbyterian Church of Quincy, 270 Franklin St., Quincy, MA 02169. This event is free and open to the public, with a reception to follow. Recital recording will be available at a later date. If you are interested in participating as a choir singer, please reach out to Dan, [email protected] or (217) 556-6506 by May 15. Throughout the lecture, this choir will sing and premier excerpts from seven new Irish language choral pieces. You will receive the music ahead of time, as well as recordings on language pronunciation. Those interested in singing will please arrive for rehearsal at 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 30 (lunch and breaks will be included).
