Welcome to Tapalanote's annual charity music event SING FOR LIFE. Powered by the BGS, together with the choir Dreaming Voices, Tapalanote will collect funds to support the Refuge LGBTQIA+, in their activities to support young LGBTQIA+ persons in need.

Dreaming Voices: When modernity and pure energy meet!
In September 2019, the a cappella pop rock group Dreaming Voices was formed under the direction of Emeline Burnotte. This group brings together some thirty experienced singers performing a varied contemporary repertoire, all ‘a cappella’. On beatbox? Mathieu Gabriel! Since its creation, Dreaming Voices has performed on prestigious stages (Grand Place in Brussels, Cirque Royal, Théâtre du Plaza, the Caves of Han) and has collaborated with artists such as Saule and Cabaret Mademoiselle. Tapalanote: This is us!
Tapalanote is the choir of the Brussels Gay Sports association (BGS). Since almost 20 years, we entertain audiences in Brussels, Belgium and Europe with our diverse repertoire. Our music and performances, under the direction of our wonderful conductor Vic Cano, reflect who we are: an LGBTQIA+ choir committed to openness and tolerance. However, Tapalanote is not just about singing and making music... Our name – Tapalanote ("You’re out of tune") – also shows that we are here to have fun as well. The Refuge LGBTQIA+ is a safe space that hosts and supports LGBTQIA+ youngsters. Thanks to their team of volunteers and social workers, the Refuge provides a safe environment and personalised support to help each young person regain independence and stability. From welcoming young people in conflict with their family, to supporting LGBTQIA+ asylum seekers, and even a solidarity shop, each of their projects addresses a specific need while pursuing a common goal: to offer young LGBTQIA+ people in need the prospect of a new future. Dreaming Voices: Wanneer moderniteit en pure energie samengaan!
In september 2019 werd de a capella poprockgroep Dreaming Voices opgericht onder leiding van Emeline Burnotte. Deze groep bestaat uit een dertigtal ervaren zangers en zangeressen die een gevarieerd hedendaags repertoire zingen, volledig a capella. Aan de beatbox? Mathieu Gabriel! Sinds haar oprichting heeft Dreaming Voices op prestigieuze podia gestaan (Grote Markt van Brussel, Cirque Royal, Théâtre du Plaza, Grotten van Han) en samengewerkt met Saule en Cabaret Mademoiselle. Tapalanote: Dit zijn wij!
Tapalanote is het koor van de Brussels Gay Sports Club (BGS), met de geweldige Vic Cano als dirgent. We bestaan bijna 20 jaar en we trakteren ons publiek in Brussel, België en Europa regelmatig op concerten met ons gevarieerde repertoire. Onze liedjes en onze optredens weerspiegelen wie we zijn: een LGBTQIA+ koor dat zich inzet voor openheid en tolerantie. Tapalanote gaat niet alleen over samen zingen. Het LGBTQIA+ Opvanghuis is een safe space die LGBTQIA+ jongvolwassenen, die niet langer thuis kunnen wonen, opvangt en bijstaat. Met hun team van vrijwilligers en sociale werkers bieden ze een veilige omgeving en persoonlijke ondersteuning om elke jongere te helpen zelfstandigheid en stabiliteit terug te vinden. Van de opvang van jongeren die in conflict zijn met hun familie, tot de ondersteuning van LGBTQIA+ asielzoekers, en zelfs een solidariteitswinkel, elk van hun projecten beantwoordt aan een specifieke behoefte terwijl ze hetzelfde doel nastreven: toekomstperspectieven bieden aan jonge mensen in nood. C'est la plus belle période de l'année ! Tapalanote est de retour avec son événement musical et caritatif annuel - le Sing for Life ! Soutenu par le BGS, et avec la chorale Dreaming Voices, Tapalanote collectera des fonds pour le Refuge LGBTQIA+, pour leur soutien aux jeunes LGBTQIA+ en difficultés.

Tapalanote : c’est nous !
Tapalanote est la chorale de l’association Brussels Gay Sports (BGS). Depuis presque 20 ans nous organisons régulièrement des concerts pour notre public à Bruxelles, en Belgique et en Europe avec un répertoire très varié, sous la direction de notre chef Vic Cano. Notre musique et nos concerts reflètent ce que nous sommes : une chorale LGBTQIA+ engagée dans l'ouverture et la tolérance. Cependant, Tapalanote ne se limite pas à chanter et à faire de la musique ensemble. En choisissant notre nom - Tapalanote - nous voulions aussi mettre en avant qu’au-delà de la musique, nous sommes là pour passer du bon temps ensemble. Le Refuge LGBTQIA+ est un safe space qui héberge et accompagne les jeunes majeurs LGBTQIA+ qui ne peuvent plus habiter chez leur famille. Grâce à son équipe de bénévoles et de travailleurs sociaux, le Refuge offre un cadre sécurisant et un soutien personnalisé pour aider chaque jeune à retrouver son autonomie et stabilité. De l’accueil des jeunes en rupture familiale, à la prise en charge des demandeurs·euses d’asile LGBTQIA+, en passant par une boutique solidaire, chacun de leurs projets répond à un besoin spécifique tout en poursuivant un même objectif : offrir des perspectives d’avenir aux jeunes.
