In this interesting loop trail, we will pass by the unique Pharaonic temple in Sinai and spend a night in an abandoned mining site. Sarabeet area.
Sinai Treasure Loop Trail - Medium level hike.
We will hike in the mountainous area behind Abu-Zenima, in Sarabeet.
Almost 40 Km walking distance over 3 days
Visiting the only Pharaonic temple of Sinai, Hathoor temple of Sarabeet and learning about its history.
Then heading to the mining area up to Um-Bogma abandoned mining village.
The area was (and still) rich with Turquoise, copper & Manganese,, explored since Pharaonic era and till today.
Date: Thursday 06 February 6PM to Sunday 09 February 10PM
Fees: 6330 LE/person
Fees includes:
• Guided hike
• Private van bus round trip
• Friday & Saturday breakfast, lunch & dinner; Sunday breakfast & lunch
• Hot drinks and water
• Thursday overnight in Sarabeet camp, Friday and Saturday camping in the valley and hills
• Bedouin guides (Hamada tribe and Olayqat tribe)
• Pick-up cars to transfer us and our stuff
