Ever wanted a chance to play a top New Zealand player? Well here's your chance!FM Bob Smith will be visiting the Hawke's Bay Chess Club and conducting a simultaneous exhibition, which involves playing numerous people at the same time.
Bob has won the NZ Chess Championship twice, has achieved 3 International Master (IM) norms and has represented New Zealand at 12 chess Olympiads between 1976 and 2010. As an organiser, Bob served 7 years as the president of the New Zealand Chess Federation and was the founder of the NZ Interschool Chess Championships.
