The Simsbury 250 Celebration Committee invites Farmington Valley residents to attend a festive and patriotic parade celebrating America’s 250th anniversary on Saturday, July 11, 2026.
The parade steps off at noon at the intersection of Owens Brook Boulevard and Hopmeadow Street. The viewing route continues south through Simsbury Center to Jim Gallagher Way.
Parade floats will be displayed for viewing and judging on Iron Horse Boulevard. Post-parade festivities will take place at and near the Simsbury Historical Society until 3 p.m.
