Simpsonville Spark Fest Art & History Exhibition

The City of Simpsonville is celebrating their 125 year anniversary through a founder's day festival called SPARK FEST. To commemorate this historical milestone we will be hosting a week long art & history exhibit featuring submissions by our local community. Our founder, Peter Simpson, was a craftsman, innovator, and entrepreneur. Across the years, citizens have used their voice to SPARK creativity and change through historical landmarks, sculptures, churches, schools, businesses, and art to tell the story of Simpsonville. We invite you to join us in continuing that legacy through this inaugural event!

LOCATION: Arts Center 110 Academy St., Simpsonville, SC 29681
SUBMISSIONS DUE Saturday August 1st

- Free to enter
- Up to 2 entries per person. Multiple entries per household allowed (ex. parent and child can enter separately)
- All ages able to participate
- All forms of art including paintings, sculptures, textiles, etc.
- Historical artifacts including photography, objects, etc.
- Submissions themed around culture and history of Simpsonville
**All submissions will be reviewed prior to presentation by the Simpsonville Arts Foundation committee and will contact participants prior display with exhibit details. Participant must bring their own pedestal/easel to display piece. Tables maybe used onsite if ok with participant.
