Join Dawn and Brad Marion for a PowerPoint presentation and discussion about how to be happy and sustainable. The event will be at the Ossipee Public Library on Friday, May 15 at 3:30 p.m. We get bombarded by more advertising than any generation in any culture, with the message that we need more stuff to make our life extraordinary and we need it now and if we don’t have money we can just charge it on a credit card. The quality of what’s being marketed is often questionable: bad for us or bad for the environment. We’ll give examples of how living with less, being thrifty, thinking carefully about our needs, using free social resources, and trying to help others leads to a simply better outcome.
