The Simply Texas Shootout isn’t just a golf tournament...it’sa personal mission rooted in gratitude and hope.

In 2021, our family’s world shifted when Derek wasdiagnosed with Kidney Cancer. Thanks to the expert care atUT Southwestern Medical Center’s Kidney Cancer Program,he’s now in remission - and we’re beyond grateful.

This inaugural event is our way of giving back.

Every swing, every sponsorship, and every story shared onthe green helps support groundbreaking research andcompassionate care for patients and families walking asimilar road. We believe in the power of community, in the strength of survivorship, and in showing up with purpose.
