About this Event
Hosted by Shelby L Photography, this special gallery night showcases black-and-white children’s portraits created by photographer Shelby Gillespie. By removing the distractions of color, the Simply Me collection highlights what’s always been true—every child is unique and worthy of being seen. We’re gathering for a semi-formal evening with light food and drinks to support Breakthrough T1D, a nonprofit serving the type 1 diabetes community through research, advocacy, and support. This event is especially close to my heart because my 2 year old son is a type 1 diabetic. We’re donating all ticket proceeds to Breakthrough T1D because, at the end of the day, the best thing we can do is help fund research that moves us toward the ultimate goal: a cure to end type 1 diabetes.
