Simple Skirt LabAges: 16 +
The most simple garment that can be made is a skirt. In this class for the very beginner, students learn how to draft an A line skirt from their own measurements, make an elastic casing, finish seams and hem. Students must bring 2 yards of cotton fabric, matching thread and 1-2 yards of 1"• wide elastic (not suitable for plaid matching). Students must be comfortable threading and using a sewing machine.
