1. Understand the key financial clauses that impact cash flow and risk (payment terms, scope, change orders).
2. Learn what to look for before signing and what to track after signing.
3. Create a simple contract-to-invoicing checklist to avoid missed billing and disputes.
4. Learn about basic invoicing and payment collection methods commonly used by small businesses.
5. Learn simple ways to track payments and outstanding invoices.

Provision of this training and related consultations are supported by DSLBD's Ward 8 Community Investment Fund (CIF) Back Office Support Services (BOSS) program.
