*TICKETING & DOOR POLICY*
Whilst we occasionally run ticketed Friday Night Specials, entry for our regular weekly Thursday club nights is on a first-come-first-served basis and unticketed and we do not take advanced seat bookings.
Entry for regular club nights is free, we pay our guests by way of a *CASH* collection. Whilst we understand that some simply haven't the means to make a contribution and absolutely DO NOT wish to exclude them, we expect those who can to make as generous a donation as they are able in recognition of our guest's work.

Life is full of unexpected ups and downs, illness, weather and other unexpected things can spoil the best made plans. We may sometimes have to change our guest at short notice, or even cancel an evening altogether. To avoid disappointment please re-visit the relevant night's event for updates *BEFORE* setting out.
*SIMON ENNALS
Having played in folk clubs in London and Nottingham in the 70s and early 80s Simon took a break from music until around 14 years ago. He returned to playing in early 2012 at Crooks Folk Club, where he found a musical home. Since then Simon has played regularly in clubs and sessions around Sheffield and Derbyshire (where he now lives), including several guest spots, and has organised several fundraising gigs for refugee charities and a hospital in Gaza.
Simon plays guitar and mandocello. Expect to hear songs from Martyn Joseph, Steve Knightley, Tom Paxton, Roy Bailey, Garth Hewitt and others , exploring themes of justice and peace, and telling stories of hope. Politics has been known to creep into the repertoire, as has the occasional love song!

Singers and musicians of all standards and styles are welcome to come along and do a short floor spot.
