Numerous churches are coming together for a special Thanksgiving Eve service featuring Simcha and Bella Davidov. They are called to bring the โGood News of Salvation โ Yeshua,โ (Jesus) to the Jew first, in the Land of Israel (Matthew 10:6; 15:24) specifically in the city of Ashdod, and also to the nations (Romans 1:16).
Yeshuat Ami (Salvation of My people) Ministry is dedicated to the establishment of Godโs Kingdom on earth (Matthew 6:9,10; 10:7) and to make Yeshua known so that ALL people will know Him.
Simcha was born in Israel and grew up in a Kibbutz his pioneer parents helped establish. As most Israelis in the Kibbutz, Simcha was a secular atheist. He served in the Israeli army and fought in the Yom Kippur war in 1973. After years of searching for the true meaning of life, Simcha came to the United States where he lived for 25 years. During that time he was witnessed to by co-workers and after searching the Hebrew Scriptures he realized that as a sinner he needed Godโs salvation. He accepted the Lord Yeshua (Jesus) in 1978. After graduating from Bible College, Simcha answered Godโs call to full-time ministry, to reach out to the Jewish people and to teach Gentile believers their Jewish roots. In 2000 Simcha answered Godโs call to return and live in Israel, and to continue his ministry work for the salvation of Israelis.
Bella was born to Holocaust survivors in a refugee camp in Germany after WWII. In 1948, one-year-old Bella, along with her family and other Jewish refugees, were allowed to enter the newborn state of Israel. She grew up with the nation, but was also an atheist. Searching for happiness and love, twenty-year-old Bella came to LA, California where she lived for 30 years. In 1984, after a long search for the truth, Bella gave her heart to Yeshua and was โBorn Again,โ finally finding true love and happiness in the Lord. God rekindled in her heart a strong love for the Land and her people, Israel, and in 1996 she moved back to Israel where she worked for a ministry for 6 years. In 2003 Bella and Simcha were married and joined together working for the common goal of Israelโs salvation.
