Celebrate the beauty of late summer with the Silverwood Clarinet Choir as it launches its 20th anniversary season with “Silverwood Summer Serenade.” A free outdoor concert on Saturday, August 23, at 6:00 p.m. on the lawn at 4111 Pompey Center Road, Manlius. The program will begin with performances by two clarinet quintets, followed by the full choir performing a variety of music written for or arranged for clarinets. Selections include Youthful Adventure, Spinning Wheel, Sounds of the Sea, and Rimsky-Korsakov's majestic Procession of the Nobles, along with other musical favorites.

Audience members will experience the full range of the clarinet family, from the bright E-flat clarinet to the rich contrabass clarinet. Bring a lawn chair or blanket, your picnic or snacks, and enjoy an unforgettable evening of music with the Silverwood Clarinet Choir. The venue is marked with a balloon on the 4111 Pompey Center Rd mailbox.
