The Silver Screen Filmmakers Club is a five-session course this fall where members will learn to shoot short documentary films on their phones, edit them, and share their work. Taught by award-winning writer/filmmaker Jessica Renslow, the class also covers a brief history of filmmaking and explores online platforms for showcasing films. Sessions will be held Mondays, October 6–November 3, 2025 from 3:30pm-5:30pm, at the Miller Beach Arts and Creative District in Gary, Indiana, with a community Short Film Showcase on Saturday, November 24.
