This course is for anyone who wants to spend an interesting day crafting with silver clay!
No previous experience with silver clay or jewelry making is necessary. An experienced teacher will answer questions and help you throughout the day, so it is guaranteed that at the end of the day you will have prepared something unique. In this course, you will learn how to mold a unique piece of jewelry from metal clay, how to burn and polish it. You can later use all the experience to make your own jewelry at home. During the day, at least a pair of earrings and a pendant will be made. All jewelry made during the course can be taken home and shown to friends
In the course you will learn how to:
Mold, texture and cut silver clay
Dry and repair silver clay
How to put a stone in clay and finish the piece before firing
Firing with a the torch
Polish jewelry
You can take a lunch break in the middle of the course . There are several places to eat nearby, but you can also take your meal with you. There is a refrigerator and a microwave. We provide coffee/tea and cookies. Bring a change of shoes.
