Silver Sonics have escaped Whanganui to tour the lower North Island this winter and have teamed up with some local favourites - Seismic State and Electric Tapestry, to bring you a night of unforgettable, high energy rock.
Silver Sonics are an indie-rock, neo-psych, pop/rock band hailing from the creative cauldron of Whanganui. Their sound fuses pop swagger with 90s grooves and 60s melodic hooks reminiscent of Britain and America with a distinctly NZ flavour. You can expect their show to be an uplifting sonic ride with energetic, authentic grooves, catchy guitar riffs and meaningful lyrics.
Seismic State play high-octane alt-rock with a blues-funk soul. A staple of the New Zealand rock circuit, the Wellington quartet is known for a professional, high-energy live show.
