To honor this journey, we are delighted to host a three-day Silver Jubilee Celebration from December 23–25, 2025, uniting our faculty, students, alumni, distinguished guests, sponsors and university officials in a memorable series of events.

Day 1 – Outreach Programme for Higher Secondary Students

The celebration begins with an inspiring outreach programme, welcoming brilliant young minds from renowned institutions including Notre Dame College, Viqarunnisa Noon School & College, Holy Cross College, RAJUK Uttara Model College, St. Joseph and many more.

• 09:45 AM – 11:00 AM: Laboratory Visits
• 11:00 AM – 11:30 AM: Quiz Competition
• 11:30 AM – 12:00 PM: Tea Break
• 12:00 PM – 12:30 PM: Three-Minute Presentation Challenge
• 12:30 PM – 01:00 PM: Seminar on Synthetic Biology (from iGEM)
• 1:00 PM – 02:00 PM: Prayer & Lunch Break

• 02:30 PM – 03:00 PM: Prize-Giving Ceremony
This day is designed to spark curiosity, nurture scientific thinking and inspire the next generation of biotechnologists.
Day 2 – Celebrating Biotechnology

📆 Date: December 24, 2025
The second day centers on celebrating the department’s contribution to advancing science for societal progress and cultural programmes.

• 11:30 AM – 01:00 PM: Special presentation: “Role of Biotechnology Towards Sustainable Development of Bangladesh”, industry partner insights and scientific presentations by alumni.

🎶 Session 3 (Cultural Program)
• 02:00 PM – 08:00 PM: Cultural performances and live music by students, alumni and renowned Bangladeshi bands, bringing together nostalgia and celebration under one vibrant stage.
Day 3 – Commemoration & Networking Picnic

The final day concludes the celebration with a joyful commemoration and networking retreat, blending relaxation, games and togetherness.
