Minimum age: 18 years (16 years when accompanied by a parent or guardian).
Suitable for absolute novices to those with some jewellery making/silversmithing skills.
Come along to the Katy Wilkinson Jewellery studio at 1b Old Swan Yard, sit down at your own personal jewellers’ bench and make yourself a fabulous chain bracelet. Once you have made your chain links, you can texture and hammer them as you wish using various tools and techniques and why not change the shape of the links to add further interest to your bracelet?!
This class includes use of all tools, tuition and guidance and the materials needed to make a sterling silver chain bracelet. Any extra materials used or required can be organised in advance or will be chargeable on the day at £2.50 per gram of silver.
Skills learnt: Sawing, filing, texturing, soldering, finishing.
