Silk Painting (2-Part Class) | Jake Willwerth, instructor

Try out a new painting technique in this fun new class! In this class, we will paint beautifully intricate designs on silk with specialized paint. In the first session, we will learn how to properly dress and stretch the silk to prepare to paint. After tracing our designs, we will reconvene in the second session to finish designing and painting our works of art.

The finished pieces will need to dry for at least 24 hours, so we recommend students leave them at the Nigra Arts Center after the class and pick them up at a later date.
