Sunrise & Sunset Silent MeetingsGather with us in the stillness of dawn and dusk — moments when the light softens, the world slows, and presence becomes effortless.
Each meeting begins 30 minutes before the official sunrise or sunset and concludes 30 minutes after, allowing time for gentle arrival and quiet reflection. The period of shared silence begins 20 minutes before the sun crosses the horizon and ends 20 minutes after, holding space for deep listening — to nature, to your breath, to what’s within.
Journal prompts are provided to guide your personal reflection before or after the silence, helping you deepen awareness and integrate your experience over time.

These gatherings invite you to start or end your day in communion with the natural rhythm of light — grounded, quiet, and open.
----> Mercy Park meetings are held at the top of the hill for sunrise and the south pavillion by the pond for sunset.
----> Cardinal Valley meetings are held just north of the east entrance parking area and may venture out for a pre-meeting walk depending on group size.
-----> Please bring a chair and blanket if easily chilled for comfort. Park and picnic benches are available first come first served at all locations.
✍️ Writing Prompts
Each session offers a small card with three prompts for private reflection or creative writing.
Choose the prompt that speaks to you, and take the time to write, draw, bullet journal or simply hold the thought quietly.
Collective journals and writing implements, plus disposable ear plugs are provided. Feel free to bring your own or choose to reflect without participating in the activity.
