Join us for an afternoon of books, wine, and community!

We're bringing together Black book lovers in Queens, NY, to foster a love for reading while uniting our community through shared literary experiences.

Whether you're looking to unwind with a good book, engage in thought-provoking discussions, or enjoy a fun afternoon with like-minded people, this event is for you.

Event Schedule:

12:00 PM - 2:00 PM: Silent Reading

2:00 PM - 3:00 PM: Author Spotlight and Interview led by Latoya Lindsay

3:00 PM - 4:00 PM: Open Mic: Calling ALL Authors, Poets, Singers, Rappers, and Performers!

Feel free to sip on wine or a beverage of your choice throughout the event.

What to Bring:

A chair or blanket

Lunch or snacks

A bottle of wine to share or a non-alcoholic beverage

Parking Info:

Limited parking inside the museum (first come, first served).

Additional street parking is available on 153rd Street.
