Silent No More - Awards Night

We warmly invite you to join us for Silent No More – Awards Night, an inspiring evening celebrating courage, creativity, and community. On 21 March from 6–9 PM at KingsGate Church, Kingston, KT1 1QT, women, supporters, and community partners from across Southwest London and Surrey will come together to reflect on and raise awareness of violence against women and girls, celebrate resilience, and be inspired by lived experiences of courage and change.

From 6–7 PM, enjoy a drinks reception, art and photography displays, and meet fellow participants. From 7–9 PM, experience choir performances and hear this year’s Pearls share their lived experiences through autobiographies, videos, and creative arts. Pearls from previous years will also reflect on the lasting impact of the project. The night will conclude with the Mayor Pearl Awards, celebrating courage, resilience, and transformation.

The evening will feature a talk from , domestic abuse campaigner, advisor, and keynote speaker. David successfully campaigned to free his mother in a landmark appeal and continues to speak out on coercive control, the impact of domestic abuse, and men’s role in tackling misogyny.

Light refreshments will be provided, with options for gluten free, vegan, vegetarian, and other dietary needs. Refuge IDVAs will be available for one-to-one support throughout the evening.
