The first Graveyard Shift event sees us getting as festive as we can, with a screening of classic 80s Christmas slasher Silent Night, Deadly Night. We will warm you up from the December freeze with our inaugural Horror quiz and music bingo before the screening along with our very own DJs.We aim to be a hub for Horror fans, both casual and hardcore. We will be hosting events in Manchester then eventually further afield, ranging from movie screenings to club nights with some gruesome quizzes and markets featuring independent traders from the UK Horror community thrown in along the way.
Silent Night, Deadly Night is a 1984 slasher film directed by Charles E. Sellier Jr. and starring Robert Brian Wilson, Lilyan Chauvin, Gilmer McCormick, Toni Nero, Britt Leach and Leo Geter. It focuses on a young boy who, after witnessing his parents' murder at the hands of a man clad in a Santa suit at Christmas, grows up tumultuously in a Catholic orphanage and slowly emerges into a cold-hearted killer himself. The film caused an uproar when released in 1984 during the holiday season, and has since developed a devoted cult following amongst the Horror faithful.
