Silent Comedy Festival at Arbory Bar & Eatery 2026

Get ready to don your headphones and laugh out loud (to yourself) with the return of Arbory Bar & Eatery's annual Silent Comedy Festival.

Putting an entertaining spin on a traditional comedy show, it's an experience much like a silent disco in which guests can enjoy gags, jokes, banter and zinging one-liners through headphones; spontaneously breaking out into laughter in response to what seems like nothing at all.

Hosted as part of Melbourne International Comedy Festival, an all-star line-up of local and international comedians will take to the mic this year, including Jimeoin, Lawrence Mooney, Dolly Diamond and Bev Killick.

Hosted on select Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Thursdays through Melbourne International Comedy Festival.

Sessions begin at 8pm each night and run until 9.15 pm, with a 15-minute intermission.

Tickets are $35 per person, inclusive of four sets from four comedians.

- Tickets do not include allocated seats. Seating is available on a first-come, first-served basis. For those that wish to dine with us before or after the show, we recommend making a reservations online here.

– Arbory Bar & Eatery is an outdoor venue. While substantial umbrella cover is available, we suggest guests bring rain protection such as umbrellas or raincoats in the event of inclement weather.

– Arbory Bar & Eatery is an accessible venue with a variety of wheelchair and disability friendly dining options.

Refund & Cancellation Policy:

– Tickets can be cancelled and refunded no less than 7 days prior to the event start time, after which time refunds will not be available.

– Wait List: If your desired ticket is sold out, please join our waitlist for further updates. In the event that your desired ticket becomes available, we can refund any other tickets purchased up until 7 days prior to the event. To organise a refund, please follow the links in your ticket confirmation email as we do not accept refund requests via email, phone or in person.

– If the event needs to be modified or cancelled due to unforeseen or external extenuating circumstances, such as COVID-19 restrictions, full refunds will be issued.
